I
specialize in exclusive, individually designed Coat of Arms and Family
trees. They are either hand designed digitally on the computer, or they
are hand painted on paper or canvas. They are not mass
produced or off the shelf. They are unique, one of a kind pieces of
art and require hours of work.
- 1.Cost
/ Price estimates
The price
of a family tree is estimated by number of people and amount of illustrations
to be represented within the artwork. To provide accurate cost estimates
an exact count of all people/ancestors is required.
--Applicable Sales
tax is added and charged on check out.
--Shipping up to
U$50.00 is included in the package prices.
--Framing is not
included in package prices.
- 2. Procedure
A minimum 50% deposit is required for any project to start.
Final payment (50%) is due on approval of design, before artwork is
e-mailed or shipped.
Smaller projects
(under $1000), or special discounted offers are payable up front.
(In case of project
termination by client before completion, paid installments are considered
compensation to artist for work completed thus far and will not be
refunded. As this is all custom work done for specific clients an
additional 30% cancellation fee will also be required)
Work begins upon
receipt of order and of payment, and a general idea of what should
be included in the design.
You will receive
a very unique and customized service. Artist will be in touch with
you via e-mail or phone, and you will be able to give your creative
input on the design and approve sketches before artwork is finalized.
- 3. Amount
of sketches and revisions included in quoted price.
It is very
important
that instructions for any project are clear and
detailed before any project is started. Included
within the quoted price are initial draft,
2(3) major revisions plus final artwork.
If more than 2 major revisions are required, or if the list of minor
changes amounts to more than 2 major revisions, client will
be notified in advance and charged $50 for every hour
of extra work. (Please see bottom
for definition of “sketch”, “minor revision “major
revision”.)
- 4.Delivery
/ Rush Jobs:
The intricate details
of hand painted/designed coat of arms require hours of work. Such artwork
can not be compared to the speed of printed matter. Projects are done
on a “First Come-First Serve” basis. Artist will try to
work with clients to meet individual deadlines, however depending on
workload and scope of artwork there can be slows or delays. It is strongly
recommended that projects are planned and booked with artist well in
advance of deadline dates. A digital design will take typically 2 - 4 weeks, a painting by hand 3 - 6 weeks after basic design has been approved and finalized. During heavy workload please allow 8-20 weeks for delivery. (Rush jobs
are possible at a 30% surcharge and upfront payment.)
- 5. Copyright:
The sale, commission and ownership of original artwork does not automatically
transfer the rights of copyright to a buyer.
Artists
grants the art buyer the following rights
for a personal Coat of Arms or Family Tree artwork.
-Ownership of
physical artwork and/or digital artwork.
-Exclusive (non
commercial) reproduction rights, such as copies, prints
for related family members and relatives.
-Buyer agrees
to give appropriate credit to the artist in all reproductions.
-All other licenses
and rights not specifically granted herein, remain with the artist.
Usage
of Coat of Arms designs for logos and Corporate ID is priced differently.
Commercial uses (retail market) of Coat of Arms or Family Tree artwork
also requires a separate agreement.
When ordering
online, please be sure that you include a phone number, and your shipping
address matches the one of your credit card.
